new release of Scan To BIM 2015.1

This release has many small improvements and one major feature that changes the way Scan To BIM is used for piping with the addition of an “easy button” like feature called Auto-Find Pipes. This feature when used will scan the entire point cloud or a selected area and look for pipes then create matching pipe runs using native Revit geometry.

A few more items in this release to make note of:
  1. Help File is now web based, we can edit and update for all users at any time (ie add a more detailed example)
  2.  More Tutorials, added via the app but pulling from our youtube playlist for STB 2015.
  3. Tweak to Deviation, smaller numbers and Grid Deviation now supports placing numbers in the grid view (center of each grid) as shown in the video above.
  4. The Adjust Pipe feature has now been moved from the Create Pulldown Menu to the Modify Menu
  5. Added new settings for update check and close dialog after creation.

With the upcoming federal election here in August just thought you all should know about the Building Australia Party … PARTY OBJECTIVES To make housing more affordable. Harmonise infrastructure levies throughout the State. Establishment of an Industry-based Workers Compensation Scheme. Reduce unnecessary planning delays which increases building costs. Council codes to be the rules, if plans comply, then approval to be granted. To harmonise DCP’s, LEP’s & Council submissions across the whole of the State. A Surprise Visit

Well to date May exacty hasn't been a great 'month'. It sorta started off well with me in Brisbane, finishing off the BDA's Eco-Smart training the day before, unfortunately things had deteriorated during the night... my left leg was severvely swollen and it'd looked like I had dipped my leg in red food colouring... for the first time in my life I wasn't looking forward to flying but I made it home where my darling MBH organized an after hours doctor to visit who immediately sent me packing to the emergency department of the hospital. OK Sat May 2 arrives with me having brekkie in the emergency dept whilst waiting to be delivered to my room for the next ??? days After spending a few days here, with the wonderful doctors lancing my 'postules' on my leg, the pain helped partially by the meds a surprise visitor appeared... and man what a spirit-lifter :) Whilst I was trying to type up some minutes, who should appear near the end of my bed... none other than ...
